Liat Cohen has been practicing law in the Los Angeles Area for over 30 years. Liat is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, 1993, and is an active member of the California State Bar.

Liat grew up in the San Fernando Valley graduating with high honors from Chatsworth High School. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.

Liat worked in-house for Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. from 2008 through 2012. Liat was Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for two years, subsequently being promoted to Senior Vice President Business Affairs & Litigation at Lions Gate. During her time at Lions Gate, Liat obtained an enormous amount of hands on experience in all matters related to contracts production and distribution of theatrical motion pictures, home video, Video on Demand, Internet streaming, marketing and promotional aspects of the entertainment industry. Liat handled the nitty gritty operational details of a large publicly traded corporation, represented and worked with “A” List talent, and solved both legal and business issues.

Liat has a reputation for being both personable and efficient in her Law Practice. Liat represents individuals and companies with legal problems. She represents both employers and employees on labor and business issues.
